[ARCHIVED] Twin Falls Arbor Day Celebration at Sunrise Park on April 26

Arbor Day Celebration

The City of Twin Falls is inviting the community to attend the 2019 Arbor Day Celebration at 4 p.m. Friday, April 26 at Sunrise Park located at 350 Madrona Street North. The city will be presented with the 2019 Tree City USA Award from the National Arbor Day Foundation.

The celebration will mark the twenty first consecutive year that the city has received the Tree City USA award. As part of the ceremony, volunteers from Cactus Pete’s, Twin Falls Parks and Recreation Commission, and other community volunteers will plant four trees at Sunrise Park.

And during the Twin Falls City Council meeting on Monday, April 22, Twin Falls Mayor, Shawn Barigar will read the proclamation declaring April 26 as Arbor Day in the City of Twin Falls.
