[ARCHIVED] Vehicle Pursuit

Twin Falls Police are dealing with a deceased adult male after a short vehicle pursuit that occurred on April 2, 2019, at approximately 1:05 pm.  Twin Falls Police Officers attempted to serve an arrest warrant on an adult male on Addison Avenue West.  The individual fled and led officers on a short vehicle pursuit.  The pursuit ended in the 100 block of Addison Avenue West, where the suspect’s vehicle was forced to stopped in traffic.  Officers called out over the radio shots fired as the suspect vehicle came to a rest. The adult male was pronounced dead on scene.  Lieutenant Terry Thueson said, “At this time, we do not believe any Twin Falls Police Officers fired their weapons.”  No other agencies were involved in the incident. No other injuries were reported and no officers were injured. The Magic Valley Critical Incident Task Force has been activated and will take charge of the investigation.  Addison Avenue West between Washington Street and Blake Street will be closed for several hours pending the investigation.
