[ARCHIVED] The City of Twin Falls to Perform Annual Sediment Pond Maintenance

Public Service Announcement

City of Twin Falls Sediment Ponds

(Near Meadow Ridge Subdivision and Twin Falls Police Training Facility)

On April 3, 2019, the City of Twin Fall will continue their annual maintenance of the sediment ponds near the Twin Falls Police Training Facility. The City Engineering Department is preparing to burn vegetation that has grown in the ponds over the previous year. Annual maintenance of these ponds allows for additional sediment removal and proper operation of the sediment ponds.

The City of Twin Falls Fire Department and Parks and Recreation Department will be on-site to assist.

It is anticipated that this activity will take 3 hours on the morning of April 3, 2019, weather permitting. The City encourages residents near the area to close doors and windows during this time.

If you have any questions concerning this project, please contact Jason Brown, City of Twin Falls Environmental Engineer, at 208-735-7323.
