The City of Twin Falls has reopened Shoshone Falls Grade, as well as Shoshone Falls and Dierkes Lake parks, to vehicle traffic after being closed Wednesday due to hazardous road conditions. Wind gusts that were blowing mist from the falls onto the roadway, and freezing temperatures in the canyon, caused ice accumulation on the lower portion of the grade.
Twin Falls Police, Parks and Recreation staff, and local towers assisted vehicles Wednesday morning, which had became stuck at the bottom of the grade.
