National Coffee With A Cop Day - October 3

Coffee with a Cop Oct 3

TWIN FALLS, ID - Have you ever wanted to ask a police officer a question, but did not know how to go about it?  Officers from the Twin Falls Police Department, Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Office and Idaho State Police will be available to answer questions from members of the community at “Coffee with a Cop” on Wednesday, October 3, 2018, from 7:00am to 9:00am at Starbucks, (Magic Valley Mall) 1951 Bridgeview Blvd.

The “Coffee with a Cop” program is a unique way to break down the barriers between law enforcement and the citizens they serve.  “Coffee with a Cop” helps build relationships, one cup at a time, and allows people to interact with local law enforcement in a friendly, relaxed environment.  The Twin Falls Police Department began hosting “Coffee with a Cop” in 2015 and has since had many informal, no agenda conversations with our community over a cup.

“It’s very important that our police officers develop strong relationships within the community,” said Twin Falls Police Captain Matt Hicks. “We believe that this type of open dialogue plays a critical role in establishing a true partnership between the community we serve and the Police Department.”

Please plan to join us for a free cup of coffee and conversation.
