“Rolling Water” Kaleidoscope Donated to City of Twin Falls

The City of Twin Falls would like to express it’s appreciation to the Janice Seagraves Family Foundation for the donation of the “Rolling Waters” Kaleidoscope, which was installed Monday morning at the corner of Main Avenue and Hansen Street.

The kaleidoscope is the latest of more than a dozen public art projects, which have been introduced to Downtown Twin Falls since reconstruction was completed earlier this year.

The giant kaleidoscope is an interactive piece of art that is designed to invite the public to pause and appreciate their surroundings. Artists Eddie and Mary Elizabeth Phillips, from Mansfield, Texas, also crafted it to “add a touch of whimsy to the community.”

The steel and glass kaleidoscope is made mostly from recycled materials and was donated by the Seagraves Family Foundation to the City of Twin Falls.

The public is invited to enjoy the kaleidoscope, but is also reminded to not climb, write, or otherwise damage the artwork that was donated to the community.
