Twin Falls Fire Department Completes Investigation Into Fire at Downtown Restaurant

The Twin Falls Fire Department has concluded its investigation into a structure fire at Guppies Hot Rod Grille located at 110 Main Avenue in Downtown Twin Falls. Investigators determined that the fire started near a washer and dryer, but the exact cause of the fire could not be determined.

The Twin Falls Fire Marshall and Idaho State Fire Marshal’s Office concluded that the fire was not arson.


The fire, which was reported at 9:55 p.m. Monday, Sept. 10 caused significant damage to Guppies Hot Rod Grille and minor smoke damage to adjacent buildings. Three engine companies from Twin Falls Fire Department responded to the fire and had it contained at approximately 10:20 p.m. The Rock Creek Fire District, City of Jerome Fire Department, City of Filer Fire Department, and Magic Valley Paramedics also assisted.
