[ARCHIVED] City Seeks Volunteers for Vacancies on Planning and Zoning, Impact Fee Committee

Council and Commission Meeting

The City of Twin Falls is seeking Twin Falls residents, who are interested in helping to shape the community, by serving on the Planning and Zoning Commission or Development Impact Fee Advisory Committee. Both committees serve a critical role in guiding development and growth in Twin Falls.

Planning and Zoning Commission

The City of Twin Falls is looking to fill one vacancy on the Planning and Zoning Commission, which reviews and acts on development applications and issues that have a lasting impact on the city.

Planning and Zoning Commissioners serve as volunteers and meet three times each month, which include: a work session on the first Wednesday of each month at 12 p.m., and two regularly scheduled meetings on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at 6 p.m.

Applicants must currently reside within Twin Falls City limits and provide evidence of continuous residency with Twin Falls County for the preceding two years. The duration of this appointment will be three years.

Development Impact Fee Advisory Committee

The City of Twin Falls is looking to fill two vacancies on the Development Impact Fee Advisory Committee that advises the Twin Falls City Council on the operation of the Impact Fee Program.

The Committee serves on a volunteer basis to identify and recommend qualifying public infrastructure projects for construction. The Committee meets at 12 p.m. approximately two to four times per year.
