[ARCHIVED] Fire Department Responds to Tuesday Morning Structure Fire

The Twin Falls Fire Department was dispatched to a report of a structure fire at about 12:20 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 15 at the 100 block of Shoup Ave. West. No injuries were reported but the structures and four vehicles were a total loss.

Three fire engines responded and found two garage structures fully engulfed in flames. Off-duty personnel and additional units from the Rock Creek Fire District were also called to assist. Fire fighters worked to extinguish the fire until it was brought under control at about 12:45. In total, eight units and 22 personnel worked to knock down the fire.

Two garage structures and four vehicles inside them were a total loss. Heat from the fire also damaged three adjacent residential structures. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
