The City of Twin Falls has closed Highland Avenue East from Madrin Street to Locust Street to vehicle traffic due to a waterline rupture in the area.
The 24-inch waterline that broke at about 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, is part of the city’s water blending system and does not directly affect residences or businesses. No residences or businesses have been affected by the waterline break, however, any reduction in water pressure should be reported to the city water department at 208-736-2275.
City crews are working to repair the break. It’s expected that Highland Avenue will be closed to thru traffic between Madrin Street and Locust Street until Monday, Dec. 3.
