The City of Twin Falls is seeking volunteers to fill seven at-large openings on a citizen advisory committee that will explore the feasibility of remodeling or building four fire stations in our community. Residents living within the city limits are encouraged to apply for the ad hoc committee.
The committee is expected to help lead the following initiatives: validate the programming solution as recommended by the Fire Station Programming Team; as well as identifying and funding solutions for the project.
The committee will meet twice a month at a date and time that is convenient for a majority of the membership and ensures the largest participation. Consistent with the City of Twin Falls commitment to transparency, agendas, meeting minutes, and video recordings will be kept and made available to the public on the city’s website at www.tfid.org Meetings will be held at the Twin Falls City Council Chambers located at 203 Main Ave. East.
Individuals who are interested in serving on the committee are encouraged to submit a letter of interest by Friday, June 22. Please submit letters of interest to Chief Les Kenworthy, Twin Falls Fire Chief, at lkenworthy@tfid.org or:
