On April 6, 2018, Twin Falls Police Detectives arrested Shawn E. Hatfield, a 42-year-old white male from Twin Falls, for lewd conduct, sexual abuse of a minor child, and battery with intent to commit a serious felony. Multiple victims have been identified throughout this investigation. Hatfield has resided in Twin Falls since approximately 2012. He lived in California and Nevada prior to moving to Twin Falls. Portions of this investigation are still on-going. Detective are asking anyone with information about Hatfield to contact Detective Rick Van Vooren at (208) 735-7200. The Twin Falls Police Department would like to remind our community that all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
