On January 3, 2018, Twin Falls Police Detectives were able to make an arrest in reference to the robbery that occurred at Dairy Queen on December 18, 2017. Clarence Meek, a 55-year-old adult male from Twin Falls, was arrested for robbery and booked into the Twin Falls County Jail. Meek was also arrested for attempted burglary in regard to the event that occurred at the Phillips 66 gas station on December 25, 2017.
Staff Sergeant Chuck Garner said, “The Twin Falls Police Department received a number of tips from our community following initial press releases regarding these two crimes.” Detectives were able to follow up on those leads and developed sufficient probable cause to support Meek’s arrest.
