Posted on: September 26, 2017[ARCHIVED] Section of Rock Creek Trail to Close For Resurfacing
The City of Twin Falls will close the northwest portion of the Rock Creek Trail beginning Wednesday, Sept. 27 through Wednesday, Oct. 4 for resurfacing and maintenance.
The closure will affect the trail section from approximately Victory Bridge to the Bracken Street entrance. Construction on new wastewater infrastructure has also closed the southeast entrance, so the public is asked to avoid the Rock Creek Trail until resurfacing can be completed.
Resurfacing the trail involves milling and laying new asphalt, which extends the life of the trail and maintains a smoother surface.
