[ARCHIVED] Robbery/Kidnapping

On April 4, 2017, at approximately 2:00 pm, a Hispanic male, who is in his 50’s, reported walking in the 200 block of Main Ave. West where he was grabbed by 3 white men, battered, and thrown into a white 4 door sedan – unknown make or model.  The victim reported being forced to lie down on the floor of the car as they drove the him out of city limits on Pole Line Road West, somewhere East of Rock Creek canyon.  The victim indicated he was unsure of the exact location, but reported the assailants drove him down near the river, where he was able to jump out of the car and flee. The assailants gave chase and assaulted the victim again with a baseball bat.  The victim reported that before leaving him stranded, the assailants took his phone and wallet.  After the attack, the victim was able to work his way to a road where he was given a ride to his son’s house by a man driving a red ford pickup.  The victim described all three assailants as white men, having bald heads and facial hair.  The victim was wearing jeans and a purple shirt. Twin Falls Police Detectives are looking to speak to the driver of the Red Ford pickup that found the victim walking and gave him a ride to his son’s house, and are asking that individual to contact Detective Jon Wilson at (208) 735-4357.  Police are also asking anyone who was on Main Avenue at this time and may have witnessed this event, or any business who may have surveillance, to please contact the Twin Falls Police Department at (208) 735-4357 or Crime Stoppers at (208) 732-5387.
