On Saturday March 25, 2017, at approximately 8:03 p.m. Twin Falls Police Officers were dispatched to a suspicious vehicle at 659 Addison Avenue West. As Officers arrived in the area, the driver of the suspicious vehicle began to drive away. Twin Falls Police Officers recognized the driver as Romeo Trevino, who had an outstanding arrest warrant for probation violation. The original charge was armed robbery and the warrant originated from the Idaho Department of Corrections. Trevino led officers on a pursuit out of Twin Falls City limits. Filer Police were able to intercept the pursuit along with Deputies from the Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Office. Trevino continued to elude the Deputies and Officers to the Hollister area where he abandoned his vehicle and fled on foot. A canine team was used unsuccessfully in an effort to track Trevino. At this time Trevino remains at large. Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Department have received reports from Hollister residents of an individual trying to steal vehicles. Police are asking for assistance in locating Romeo Trevino. If you happen to see this individual, do not approach and please call 911. It is unknown at this time if Trevino is armed or not.
