[ARCHIVED] Man Falls From Cliff Near Shoshone Falls

On Sunday March 26, 2017, at approximately 3:30 p.m. Twin Falls Police and Fire personnel along with paramedics from St. Luke's Magic Valley were dispatched to the Shoshone Falls grade regarding a 35-year-old male, identified as Jessie Manning, who fell off a cliff.  It appears Jessie fell approximately 50 feet.  Rescue personnel were able to reach Jessie Manning and determined he had suffered numerous broken bones.  St. Luke’s Life Flight was dispatched and able to maneuver the helicopter to load Jessie at the scene.  He was taken directly to St. Luke’s in Boise for treatment.  Jessie’s condition is unknown at this time.
