[ARCHIVED] Twin Falls Police Seeking Public’s Help in Identifying Person of Interest

The Twin Falls Police Department is seeking the public’s help to identify a person of interest who was in the area of an attempted child abduction in northwest Twin Falls.

At approximately, 4 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28, the Twin Falls Police Department responded to a report of an attempted child abduction in the area of Field Stream Way and North College Road.

It was reported that a 9-year-old female was chased by an unknown man while walking home from the school bus stop. The man was described as possibly being in his 20s with dark blonde hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing eye glasses, a black coat, and black sneakers. 

The man allegedly followed the girl before fleeing on foot in an unknown direction.

Police are asking anyone with information regarding the incident to call the Twin Falls Police Department at 311 or 208-735-4357. Anyone with home security cameras near the incident may also have information that can help detectives.

Police are working with the Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Office and the Twin Falls School District to investigate the incident and to advise parents, bus drivers, and school personnel about the incident.
