On Thursday November 17, 2016, at approximately 7:05 AM, Twin Falls Police Officers were dispatched to the intersection of Eastland Drive North and Falls Avenue regarding a pedestrian that had been struck by a pickup. The driver of the pickup was turning onto Eastland Drive from Falls Avenue and did not see the 15 year old male pedestrian crossing the road. The speed of the pickup was estimated at 5 mph or less. The juvenile complained of minor injuries and was transported to St. Luke's Magic Valley for treatment. The driver of the pickup was cited for failure to yield to a pedestrian.
