On Tuesday, Sept. 27th, Twin Falls Police arrested two students at Bridge Academy for possession of a weapon on school property. The first student had allegedly brought to school a pellet gun that closely resembled a firearm. School Resource Officers were conducting following up on an unrelated investigation and located the weapon after reviewing surveillance video. The video showed a second student attempting to help conceal the weapon. The students were taken into custody without incident.
On the morning of Wednesday, Sept. 28th, a student at O’Leary Middle School was taken into custody on charges of possessing a weapon on school property. Students at the school reported seeing the suspect with a small Leatherman-style knife. The student was taken into custody without incident.
