At approximately 11 p.m, Sunday, May 30, Twin Falls Police were dispatched to the Old Towne Lodge located at 248 Second Ave. West, where a citizen reportedly saw a male individual who matched the description of a suspect involved in an armed robbery the previous week.
When police arrived they saw Cody Meade, 25, whose last known residence was Tennessee, flee on foot into an alley between Second Avenue West and Main Avenue West. Officers set up a perimeter and searched the immediate area, eventually locating Meade who was hiding inside a dumpster. He was taken into custody without further incident.
Detectives were able to determined that Meade was the suspect involved in the armed robbery of the Oasis Stop N’ Go at 1390 Blue Lakes Blvd. North on Thursday, May 26. He was subsequently charged with robbery and transported to the Twin Falls County Jail.
