[ARCHIVED] Funeral Procession To Be Held for Firefighter Franklin on Saturday

At approximately 4 p.m. on Saturday, May, 28, the Twin Falls Fire Department and Twin Falls Police Department will escort the remains of Firefighter Ryan Franklin from services held at the Twin Falls Reformed Church at 1631 Grandview Drive North to the vicinity of the Twin Falls Cemetery on Kimberly Road.

Police and Fire vehicles will begin at the Twin Falls Reformed Church and travel north on Grandview Drive to Pole Lines Road. The procession will then travel east on Pole Line Road to Blue Lakes Boulevard North, turn south and travel as far as Murtaugh Street East and then turn onto Second Avenue East. The procession will continue on Second Avenue – passing Twin Falls Fire Station #1 – and then cross Shoshone Street to Addison Avenue. The procession will then continue to Washington Street North, onto Cheney Drive West, and onto Grandview Drive North until it returns to the Twin Falls Reformed Church.

The procession is expected to conclude at approximately 4:30 p.m., with brief delays as intersecting streets during the procession. The public may show their support from sidewalks and safe areas that are not blocking the flow of traffic. Drivers are asked to yield to the funeral procession.
