The City of Twin Falls would like to invite the community to attend the 2016 Arbor Day Celebration at 4 p.m. Friday, April 22 at First Federal Park located near the Sunway Soccer Complex at North 2700 East in Twin Falls.
The City will be presented its 2015 Tree City USA Award from the National Arbor Day Foundation, which will mark the eighteenth consecutive year that Twin Falls has received the Tree City USA award. Twin Falls Mayor, Shawn Barigar, will read the proclamation declaring April 22 as Arbor Day for the City of Twin Falls.
As part of the ceremony, the Boys & Girls Club of Magic Valley, volunteers from Cactus Pete’s and Magic Valley Youth Council will plant four trees at First Federal Bank Park. The community is invited to join in the planting of the trees.
