The City of Twin Falls Parks and Recreation Department will open the public bathrooms for seasonal use on Friday, March 26. The bathrooms will be open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. in parks managed by the City of Twin Falls.
The City maintains 17 bathroom facilities in public areas around the community, in an effort to provide families and park visitors with necessary amenities and to maintain the cleanliness of the parks. The bathrooms are cleaned twice daily, seven days a week by City of Twin Falls Parks and Recreation staff.
Public restrooms are closed during the winter to prevent waterline and facility damage during freezing temperatures.
The cost to maintain the restrooms is about $7,500 per year. The City encourages visitors to report any misuse or vandalism of the facilities by calling 735-4357.
