Beginning Tuesday, February 17, 2015, the stairs on the east side of Dierkes Lake will be closed due to construction. The existing wooden stairs are being removed and replaced with a combination of metal and Trex decking that is estimated to last 40-50 years. In addition, two other smaller sets of stairs are being constructed in the same area. Once replaced, it will be easier and safer for patrons to walk around the lake. Construction will take 2-3 months to be completed. Please contact City of Twin Falls Parks & Recreation Department at 736-2265 with any questions.
