[ARCHIVED] PRESS CONFERENCE: Police to Release Statement and Host Discussion on Pharmacy Robberies

With the rising number of pharmacy robberies in the City of Twin Falls and growing concern among our community about the issue, the City will hold a press conference at 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7 at the Twin Falls City Hall, Police Classroom located on the first-floor at 321 Second Ave. East in Twin Falls to provide a significant update on past and current investigations, a comprehensive look at how the issue is affecting our community, and what the City is doing to protect citizens and businesses affected by the issue.

Doors will open at 2:30 p.m. to allow media to setup prior to the conference. The conference will start promptly at 3 p.m. and will be followed by a discussion period with members of the Department. The conference and discussion will end promptly at 4:00 p.m. to allow staff to return to service. The discussion will be informal and allow time for questions that will assist the media and public in informing the community about the issue.
