[ARCHIVED] Parks and Recreation Department Seeks Feedback on Master Plan

The City of Twin Falls Parks and Recreation Department is asking citizens to participate in its Master Plan Steering Committee, which will guide efforts to update the long-term plan for park and open-space development and maintenance, as well as the development and continuation of recreational opportunities within the community.

The City of Twin Falls’ Citizen Survey and other methods of citizen feedback will be used to assess the community’s perception of current park offerings and recreational opportunities in the City. From that point, the feedback provided will be used to update the master plan to address issues and to maintain successful parks and recreation programs.

The City will meet once a month for six months at the Twin Falls City Council Chambers located at 305 Third Ave. West, and any interested persons are encouraged to attend. The City may also be ask the group to visit offsite locations such as parks and facilities.

Anyone who is interested in providing feedback on the Master Plan, and who lives within the City of Twin Falls’ area of impact, should contact the Parks and Recreation Department Director at 208-736-2265 or at dbowyer@tfid.org.
