[ARCHIVED] Twin Falls Police Arrest Suspect in Sav-More Pharmacy Robbery

At approximately, 3 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, Twin Falls Police took Billy Joe Bodenhofer, 34, of Twin Falls, into custody on suspicion of robbing the Sav-Mor Drug Store at gunpoint.

Police officers and detectives, with the help of Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT), took Bodenhofer into custody at his home without incident. Bodenhofer was charged with robbery, aggravated assault, kidnapping, burglary, and possession of a controlled substances. He is currently being held in the Twin Falls County Jail.

Bodenhofer is suspected of robbing Sav-Mor Drug Store located at 139 Main Ave. North in Twin Falls on Saturday, Oct. 25. According to store employees, the suspect displayed what was believed to be a handgun and demanded specific prescription drugs.

The incident is still under investigation, however, more information will be released as it becomes available.
