[ARCHIVED] Twin Falls Police Search For Suspect In Walgreen Robbery

Twin Falls Police were dispatched at approximately 8:15 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 17 to a Walgreens pharmacy located at 1732 Washington Street North in regards to a robbery.

According to store employees and witnesses, a white male in his early to mid-20s wearing a white or light colored hat and hoody style sweatshirt, approached the pharmacist with a note that demanded specific prescription drugs. It is unknown at this time if the suspect had a weapon.

The suspect left the store with an undisclosed quantity of prescription drugs, and then fled on foot westbound across Washington Street North and into a residential neighborhood. Police immediately set up a perimeter around the area and began searching for the suspect. Police are still searching for the suspect.

More information will be released as it becomes available.
