[ARCHIVED] Police Department To Host National Night Out On Tuesday

The Twin Falls Police Department, in partnership with Target, will be hosting our 4th Annual National Night Out event on Tuesday, Aug. 12, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Twin Falls City Park.

This is event is held across the nation every year to provide an opportunity for the citizens to come out and meet their local law enforcement agencies and first responders to partner in the fight against crime. This is a great opportunity to bring the family out and see the tools of the trade which your local agencies use.

Several agencies are scheduled to be at the event, including the Twin Falls Police Department, Twin Falls Fire Department, Twin Falls Sheriffs Office, CSI Law Enforcement, SLMVRMC Paramedics, Idaho State Police, BLM, Forrest Service and the Idaho Department of Fish and Game. A few of the displays we will have are SWAT, Bomb Squad, Traffic Team, Crime Lab, Detectives, Patrol and our Bike Team.

Free hotdogs have been donated by Falls Brand and Target will have entertaining activities for children to include a Laser gun safety booth, Angry Birds, and a craft type booth.
