The Twin Falls Police Department is seeking any information regarding a robbery that took place at the Twin Stop Chevron located at 1509 Kimberly Road at about 5 a.m. Wednesday, May 21. Detectives are searching for the suspect who held a store clerk at knife point while demanding money, as well as an accomplice who was seen driving a vehicle that fled the scene with the robbery suspect.
Witnesses told police that during the early morning hours of May 21, a male individual wearing gloves, a dark red t-shirt with white lettering, a camouflage jacket, and a black ski mask entered the store. He was also wearing a black glove on his left hand and a white glove on his right hand. The man, who was described as Hispanic and about 6 feet 4 inches tall with a medium build and blue or green eyes, approached the store counter and pointed a knife at the store clerk.
Witnesses also said a second male suspect stood outside the store during the robbery. The suspect who stood outside the store was described as being a Hispanic male with a mustache. He was last seen wearing a hoodie style sweatshirt and a blue beanie.
Both suspects exited the store on foot, running northbound on Locust Street where they got into a red Pontiac Grand Prix parked near a mobile home park and then drove northbound at a high rate of speed.
Anyone who may have been traveling past the intersection of Kimberly Road and Locust Street, or anyone on Locust Street near Fourth Avenue East or Harmon Park at the time of the robbery, may have seen something suspicious or something that may contribute to the investigation. A reward of up to $1,000 is offered by Crime Stoppers for information leading to the arrest of criminal suspects.
