[ARCHIVED] Twin Falls Police Department Releases Names of Deceased

The Twin Falls County Coroner’s Office has identified both of the deceased found by a mail carrier in a Twin Falls home on Tuesday, July 29.

At 11:20 a.m. Tuesday, July 29, police were dispatched to a house at 298 Madison Street, after a mail carrier reported that she could see a deceased person inside the doorway of the home. When officers arrived, they conducted a preliminary search of the home and found the bodies of two individuals. A warrant was issued by a Twin Falls County judge for officers to conduct a more thorough search of the home as part of an investigation. In addition, an autopsy was conducted in Boise and by the Twin Falls County Coroner’s Office.

Coroners identified the deceased male as Dwight Mein, 57, of Twin Falls. A second body – that of a female – was identified as Ronda Morgan, 58, of Twin Falls. The process to identify the deceased female required additional time, as the body was found in a more degraded state.

At this time the investigation is ongoing, and no further details are being released. The Twin Falls County Prosecutor’s Office will release more information as it becomes available.
