[ARCHIVED] Twin Falls Fire Department Battles Wednesday Night Blaze

The Twin Falls Fire Department was dispatched to a report of a structure fire at 241 Sunrise Boulevard North in Twin Falls at approximately 10:15 p.m. on Wednesday, June 12.

When firefighters arrived, the saw heavy smoke coming from a single car garage at the residence. Firefighters were able to access the garage and contain the fire and prevent damage to the rest of the residence. The fire was reported to be under control at 10:28 p.m.

Four trucks were dispatched to the scene. The fire was investigated by the Fire Investigation Taskforce, which determined that the cause was likely an electrical cord to a space heater inside the garage.
