Idaho Smart Growth, the Idaho Pedestrian and Bicycle Alliance, and the Conservation Voters for Idaho Education Fund have formed a partnership to focus on integrating bicycling and walking more fully into transportation policies and practices in Magic Valley and across Idaho.
As the City of Twin Falls works to increase trail accessibility and connectivity, and to encourage walking and cycling for recreation and transportation, citizens are encourage to take part in Idaho Smart Growth’s regional discussion at 9 a.m., Tuesday, June 10 at the Twin Falls City Council Chambers located at 305 Third Avenue East.
Idaho Smart Growth will discuss the development of transportation systems in Idaho to better serve walking, biking and transit. The purpose of the group is to bring together citizens who are – or will become – informed about the tools and policies that can improve walking and biking conditions, convenience and safety, and who can assist in supporting changes in the Magic Valley Region.
