The Twin Falls Police Department will not close streets in Historic Downtown Twin Falls for the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade. The parade and related events outside have been cancelled due to high winds.
The parade was planned to begin at 12 p.m. March 17 at the 500 and 600 blocks of Main Avenue East and proceed northwest on Main Avenue, ending at the intersection of Main Avenue North and Dierkes Street North.
However, strong winds have prompted event organizers to cancel the parade and outdoor related events. The National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Warning for the City of Twin Falls and surrounding areas until 6 p.m. Monday, March 17.
