[ARCHIVED] TRAFFIC ALERT: City of Twin Falls To Begin Installation of Traffic Signal

The City of Twin Falls will begin work on a traffic signal installation project at the intersection of Fillmore Avenue North and North College Road. This work, which will begin Feb. 5 and should be completed by Feb. 7, will involve installing signal poles and mast arms for the traffic signals.

The section of Fillmore Avenue North that is south of North College Road will be closed for the duration of the work. There will also be lane restrictions during signal pole and mast arm installation. Drivers should expect traffic delays for short durations during the project. Local business access will be maintained.

The City is encouraging commuters to use of an alternate route during the project.

The City has contracted with Balanced Rock Electric, Inc. to perform the work.

The signal is expected to be operational by the end of February.
