[ARCHIVED] Parks and Recreation Department Accepting Registration for Ski Packages

The City of Twin Falls Parks and Recreation Department is currently accepting registration for ski and snowboard packages at Magic Mountain and Pomerelle ski resorts.

The program is available for, either four, or six pre-scheduled Sundays that begin on Jan. 12 at the Pomerelle Ski Resort or Jan. 4 at the Magic Mountain Ski Resort.

The program includes a full-day lift ticket and a 1.5 hour group lesson, tailored to your ability. This program is intended for the first time skier or snowboarder. The program cannot accept children younger than 7 years old. Children between 7 and 11 years old must be with a parent. Children 12 years of age and older may participate without a parent.

The cost is $90 per person for four weeks or $130 per person for six weeks – this is a $170 and $260 savings, respectively. Discounted equipment is also available with this program at $10 for the ski package and $15 for the snowboard package. The program is non-refundable.

The discounted ski and snowboard packages are part of the City of Twin Falls efforts to provide affordable outdoor recreation opportunities that keep youth active. The opportunities are made available through partnerships with local businesses that also seek to keep our youth active in our region’s outdoor playground.

For more information, contact the Twin Falls Parks and Recreation Department at 736-2265 or 736-2266.
