[ARCHIVED] Twin Falls Fire Department Responds to Residential Fire, One Injured

At approximately 4:30 a.m. Tuesday, the Twin Falls Fire Department was dispatched to a residential fire at 1142 Kenyon Road in Twin Falls County. When fire fighters arrived on the scene they found the main floor of the two-level home engulfed in flames.

Firefighters were unable to locate anyone outside the home, so they immediately began to search the residence for occupants. Fire fighters found one female in the home, who was removed from the home and transported by ambulance to St. Luke’s Magic Valley Hospital. The condition of the victim is unknown at this time.

One fire fighter was also transported to the hospital for smoke inhalation. He was released after being treated.

Three fire engines responded to the fire, which was under control at 6:37 a.m. The home sustained significant fire damage.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation by the Twin Falls Fire Department and the Twin Falls Police Department. More information will be released when it becomes available.
