The City of Twin Falls would like to encourage citizens to attend a public transportation open house from 2:30 p.m. till 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 17 at the Twin Falls City Council Chambers located at 305 Third Avenue East in Twin Falls.
The open house - hosted by the Community Transportation Association of Idaho - will provide an opportunity for the public to help shape public transportation in District 4, which includes Twin Falls, Jerome and Gooding counties.
Sarah Michael, District 4 Mobility Manager, will lead the discussion and comments gathered at the open house will be used to help update to the region’s mobility plan. The District 4 Mobility Plan guides investment in public transportation systems in South Central Idaho.
Bicycle and walking paths was one of citizens' highest priorities in the City of Twin Falls Strategic Plan, so the City would like to encourage citizens to attend the open house and provide feedback.
The plan also affects Jerome and Gooding counties.
