[ARCHIVED] Twin Falls Police Conclude Investigation Into Weekend Shooting

The Twin Falls Police Department has completed its investigation into a shooting incident that
occurred at approximately 9:27 p.m. Friday, August 2 at the Rivercrest Apartment complex.

On the night of the shooting, police responded to 2029 Rivercrest Drive, where they found Bradley
Gilmartin, 33, of Twin Falls, injured from a single gunshot wound to the foot. Gilmartin alleged
that his brother, William Gilmartin, 30, also of Twin Falls, shot him in the foot.

Bradley Gilmartin told detectives that he, his brother and a third person had been drinking prior
to the incident. Detectives believe that the mishandling of a firearm was a factor in the shooting.
No other injuries were reported at the scene.

Detectives have sent their report to the Twin Falls County Prosecutor, who will decided what
charges may be filed in the shooting.
