[ARCHIVED] Twin Falls Police Department Hosts Third Annual National Night Out

The Twin Falls Police Department in partnership with Target will host the Third Annual National Night Out event from 5 until 8 p.m., Tuesday, July 23 at the Twin Falls City Park.

The event is part of the continued effort by the Twin Falls Police Department to partner with members of the community to fight crime and promote safety within the City of Twin Falls.

National Night Out provides an opportunity for citizens of Twin Falls to meet and partner with Twin Falls Police Department personnel, as well as other emergency responders from Twin Falls County. The event is free to the public and all community members are encouraged to attend.

The Twin Falls Police Department will have several groups from within the organization with displays; such as the SWAT Team, Bomb Squad, Traffic Team, Bike Team, Crime Lab and patrol officers to meet with the public. The Twin Falls Fire Department will also provide presentations on gear and fire safety.

St. Luke’s Magic Valley Medical Center paramedics, Safe Kids Magic Valley and the Boys and Girls Club of Magic Valley will also participate with their own displays and presentations.

Target staff and family members have generously donated their time and resources to provide games and food for children — including free hotdogs, drinks and snacks.
