The Magic Valley Canine Social Club and the City of Twin Falls have joined together to develop the first community dog park in Twin Falls. The location is at the northeast corner of Blake Street North and Shoup Avenue West, directly west of the St. Luke’s Canyon View Hospital.
The site will also be shared with the City’s first community garden.
Fund raising efforts are underway to make this dream into a reality for the community’s dog lovers. They have been two large donors to start this effort, but other funds are needed to accomplish the goal of construction this spring or summer. Funds are being channeled to the Twin Falls Community Foundation so donors can receive a tax credit.
