Contractors will close Federation Road at North Washington to thru traffic beginning Oct. 3 and detours will be in place on Canyon Crest Drive and Canyon Trail Way. Extreme Excavation will be installing sewer and water line upgrades as part of the construction of the GEM Prep Charter School and Federation Point Development.
The scheduled work will last approximately three weeks, ending Friday, Oct. 21. During construction, drivers should avoid the east end of Federation Road and Washington Street North. Access to the Gun Club will remain open during the construction project.
Drivers are reminded to slow down, follow all posted traffic signals, and yield to workers and equipment in work zones. Fines increase for speeding in constructions zones and detours. Questions about this project should be directed to Extreme Excavation at 208-544-7625.
