The west side of Baxter’s Dog Park will be closed beginning July 5 through September 1, so contractors with the City of Twin Falls can construct new sidewalk, curb and gutter on Blake Street — along the west side of the dog park.
During the project no public parking will be permitted on the west side of the Dog Park. A chain-link fence along the west side of the dog park will be moved, causing temporary closures of the west side of the park. Contractors will also be moving utility poles and widening the roadway to match the rest of Blake Street. Due to shoulder work on Blake Street there will be reduced lane widths and drivers should reduce their speed.
