Are you looking for a way that you or your organization can volunteer to help the community during Earth Day? Please join the City of Twin Falls in cleaning up our community in honor of Earth Day.
Civic, community, religious groups are already planning to participate cleaning and sprucing up parks and public areas in Twin Falls on Friday, April 22. But the Twin Falls Parks and Recreation Department still has several openings for volunteers.
The Parks and Recreation Department has organized dozens of small cleanup projects that can be easily completed with 4 to 10 volunteers. The projects include painting benches and railings, removing overgrown brush and spreading bark bedding in park areas.
Individuals and organizations who are interested in volunteering, are encouraged to contact the Twin Falls Parks & Recreation Department at 208-736-2265 or ejoseph@tfid.org
