The traffic signal at Washington Street South and Orchard Street is temporarily disabled and set to flashing red - indicating a four-way controlled stop. Flaggers will also be directing traffic through the intersection during peak traffic times.
Contractors with the City of Twin Falls were installing a new traffic signal on Monday when they experienced an equipment failure. Workers were unable to complete installation of the new traffic signal on Monday and will resume installation on Tuesday. The signal is expected to be operational by the end of the day Tuesday.
Drivers are asked to slow down and use caution at the intersection. Please provide extra space between vehicles and, as always, do not use cell phones while driving.
