Contractors with Rocky Mountain Excavation will begin using heavy equipment to remove the former Idaho Youth Ranch Building at 160 Main Avenue beginning Monday, Dec. 7. There will be lane closures adjacent to the project area so that contractors can set up the equipment and remove the building debris.
Beginning Tuesday, Dec. 7, Hansen Street will be closed in both directions between Main Avenue and Second Avenue South. The southbound lane on Main Avenue will also be closed directly in front of the project area, while the northbound lane ron Main Avenue will remain open.
The alley behind the project area, as well as the sidewalks around it, will be closed for the duration of the project. Demolition is scheduled to be completed by February 12.
