[ARCHIVED] Shooting 200 Block Heyburn Ave W

UPDATE:

The Twin Falls Police Department (TFPD) responded to a shooting on Sunday, October 4, 2020 at 1:36 PM, in the 200 block of Heyburn Avenue West.  Officers secured the scene and a male victim was life flighted to Salt Lake City while police continued looking for the suspect.    

On October 5, 2020, at approximately 10:30 AM, Tyler Jay Parsons, age 23, from Twin Falls, ID, was taken into custody without incident at a residence in Kimberly, ID.  Mr. Parsons was booked into the Twin Falls County Jail facility for the following charges:  Aggravated Battery, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Destruction of Evidence, and Possession of a Controlled Substance.  

The TFPD investigators worked closely with the Twin Falls County Prosecutor’s Office, Idaho State Police, and the Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Office during the arrest of Mr. Parsons.
