Fiber optic installation for the Twin Falls School District will close the outside southbound lane on Washington Street North beginning Thursday, Sept. 10 through Friday, Sept. 11.
The outside southbound lane on Washington Street North from Falls Avenue to Filer Avenue will be closed so contractors can install the fiber optic line. The contractor, Crown Utilities LLC is primarily installing fiber optic lines from existing power poles, and the lane closures help ensure the safety of workers during installation.
Contractors began installing fiber optic cable for the School District at the intersection of Elizabeth Boulevard and Eastland Drive on Aug. 20.
