The Connection Fiber Optic Company will be upgrading overhead fiber optic lines from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9 through Friday, Sept. 11 between the intersection of Bridgeview Boulevard and Pole Line Road, as well as the intersection of Pole Line Road and Eastland Drive.
During the fiber optic upgrades, the westbound lane on Pole Line Road will be diverted to the refuge lane. Eastbound vehicle traffic will remain unaffected.
The scheduled work will last approximately three days, and drivers are encouraged to avoid the project area or allow extra time while driving through the section of Pole Line Road.
